Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented Contracts Manager to support our rapidly growing and evolving WW Ops Procurement and Robotics business. Our team is seeking someone who has the uncanny ability to know where they are needed, who can identify and drive global process improvements, and work cross-functionally with other teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of third party contractual relationships, including products and services agreements, software licensing and hosted services agreements, work orders, amendments, and NDAs. You will work with our internal team of attorneys and contracts managers as well as outside counsel support, and provide day-to-day advice to business clients on transactions, processes, systems, and internal and external communications, and we will look to you for exciting and revolutionary ideas to improve our processes and client services.

The candidate must have:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused, detail driven, and professional demeanor;
  • A passion for building trust with internal and external stakeholders by being proactive and innovative in solving problems that affect stakeholders and customers;
  • A proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload;
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, reacting with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround, and taking effective action without knowing the whole picture;
  • A desire to grow professionally as the role’s responsibility grows rapidly with the business; and
  • Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once and work independently
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
  • In-house experience is a plus
