Job Summary and Description:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems and Data management including, but not limited to:
  • Enters EPRI data and information into vendor portals
  • Maintains and updates a database of standard portal questions and responses
  • Constructs reports as needed pulling from SAP and other EPRI systems
  • Reviews Portal requests, noting any portal terms and conditions that may be embedded into the portal registration process that are in conflict with existing agreements between EPRI and the vendor or that may not be agreeable to EPRI. Escalates as needed to manager and Legal.
  • Reviews vendor portal registration requirements that may be in conflict with US government laws or regulations (i.e. taxation, export control, anti-boycott, etc.). Escalates as needed to manager and Legal.
  • Coordinates with others across EPRI to secure requested information.
  • Reviews vendor portals regularly for new funding opportunities. Forwards opportunities and related documents to appropriate EPRI staff for follow up.
  • Tracks strategic contract activities such as master agreements and billable services under development.
  • Assists proposal development staff with proposal tracking and reporting.
  • Supports funding line review and corrections for executed contracts and amendments
  • Acts as liaison for Revenue Contracts team between internal stakeholders for information and support activities related to proposals, contracts processes, and other data

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree is required with a Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
  • Business or legal field with Paralegal or Supply Chain Management specialization preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand contract language
  • Two or more years of related experience in contracting and/or proposals. Sales experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively multi-tasking, successfully managing to deadlines and competing workloads, making informed decisions, and seeking advice from and coordinating decisions with others when needed.
  • Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP system a plus.
  • Experience with OpenText or other enterprise content management system.
  • Experience using SharePoint desired.

  • Basic understanding of contracting processes, contractual provisions, format, terms and conditions.
  • Professional, diplomatic, and collaborative team player.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively with technical, finance and legal staff and others on-site as well as in remote locations with limited supervision.

  • Excellent listening and oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, interpersonal and teaming skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
