Comstock is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator for our Legal Department. S/he will be responsible for corporate contracts and other agreements to ensure compliance and identify possible business and legal risk. Our ideal candidate will be an organized and detail-oriented self-starter with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Serve as point person and work closely with staff and vendors to develop and finalize contract documents, including managing the vendor qualification process
  • Provide guidance and training to teams in their completion of necessary paperwork
  • Maintain and manage contract milestones and relay billing details to Accounting
  • Prepare requested materials for senior management, including execution packages
  • Obtain, review, distribute and maintain critical vendor information from contract documents to necessary parties to ensure that projects are managed in accordance with contracts, including vendor certificates of insurance and W-9s
  • Work with Accounting to review monthly subcontractor/vendor fees for accuracy and compliance with contracts and policy
  • Maintain and manage executed contracts and vendor certificates of insurance per the document retention policy and other internal guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in business admin or business-related field
  • Minimum of at least 3 years’ experience in related field
  • Sound judgment, discretion and ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Possess strong time management and analytical skills
  • Possess advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Broad knowledge of and exposure to all phases of contracts management
  • Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity
  • Must hold oneself and others accountable and strive for a high level of excellence
  • Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation
