- Maintain a compliant federal security program and site that meets or exceeds requirements for handling and storing DoD/SCI information.
- Provides guidance and interpretation about security standards, practices, and programs to support the federal business and security initiatives.
- Develops tailored security trainings/briefings and audit programs to facilitate consistent quality program delivery.
- Manage programs in an operational environment; developing and implementing security awareness and education; conducting briefings and debriefings; processing personnel security investigation packets; conducting security pre-screens and interviews with employees being processed for clearance/access; handle visit certifications; conducting security violation investigations; writing local policies and procedures implementing government and Corporate guidelines; writing security volumes for proposal efforts.
- Manage the control / dissemination / dispatch / receipt / destruction of SCI materials; conduct semi-annual audits; manage COMSEC requirements; obtain physical certification and accreditation of SCIF areas; working with government and prime contractor program managers to understand needs and provide security guidance; and other tasks as assigned.
- Assesses and adapts current protocols to meet CMMC requirements
- Maintain liaison with government, industry, and intelligence professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing program security support to DoD and SCI level programs
- Extensive knowledge of DoD/ICD directives pertaining to physical and personnel security relating to all security disciplines.
- Must be a United States citizen and meet eligibility requirements to obtain SCI access and meet polygraph requirements.
- Must hold US Government security clearances/access approvals commensurate with the requirements of the programs being supported.
- Knowledge and skill to manage a personnel security program involving multiple government agency sponsored programs.
- Knowledge of ICD for Information System Security requirements.
- Knowledge of NIST SP 800-171 and developing CMMC requirements regarding CUI and CDI
- Knowledge of the organization, implementation, and operation of the National Industrial Security Program.
- Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a multi-program environment.
- Knowledge and skill to apply general government guidelines and directives in solving practical day-to-day security problems.
- Knowledge on the physical security requirements to obtain physical accreditation of new secure areas.
- CSSO and FSO certifications and training required.
- Sound, ethical judgment required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in complex situations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including presentation, reporting and consulting.
- Proven “customer service” and relationship management skills.
- Abreast of industry and technology changes to ensure security programs minimize emerging risks.
