Contract2Hire: Lab Technician (Microbiology, Material Science, Biology)

New lab working in Product Design and Development is seeking a Lab Technician for a 6 month contract to hire. Company works in medical devices and chronic critical care medical products, the work in this lab will support product development, material testing and identification of new techniques, products and modifications.

Critical Requirement:

• MA in Science or Engineering - Ph.D Plus
• 2 years Lab Experience in Microbiology
• Product R&D experience preferred
• Material Science experience preferred
• Local to UMASS Lowell
• Strong critical thinking and attention to detail

This is a quick turnaround role, with a fast start date. It will initially be a 6 month contract with benefits available after 60 days. It is an ongoing need with future expansion, great skill building opportunity and good career advancement opportunities. Contract can renew or convert to direct hire.
