This position reports to the Senior Legal Counsel, Retail.
What you will do:
- Responsible for supporting and maintaining our contracts management system (CLM Matrix) and for coordinating the intake and assignment processes of our contracts in-box
- Care for Legal Department inbox for general contracts related questions
- Maintain and keep current metadata in the contracts management system
- Assist with training users to properly use the contracts management system
- Make recommendations about future use and functionality of the contracts management system
- Assist in the drafting and negotiation of basic contracts, for example, non-disclosure agreements, lease agreements, equipment lease agreements, and hauling service agreements
- Ensure contracts are completed in accordance with company policies, including limits of authority policies and client specifications and timing
- Help to revise and maintain form agreements
- Assist with our real property database
- Assist legal counsel, as needed
- Work collaboratively with other departments to gather necessary feedback or approvals related to contracts, including the insurance and finance departments
- Maintain and process bond requests and bond invoices
- This position may require only very occasional travel
What you will bring:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a contracts system administrator, contracts manager, or related field
- Experience revising and reviewing contracts
- Bachelor’s degree considered an asset, but not necessary
- Paralegal certificate considered an asset, but not necessary
- A passion to deliver exceptional customer service for both internal and external stakeholders
- Thorough interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport and work successfully with others
- MS Word and Adobe Pro skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize, and guide high volumes and asks with a sense of urgency
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ownership mindset
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly
- Ability to work self - guided and as a team member
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range $53,200 - $76,000.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our plan(s), which provide discretionary award opportunities reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee. Details will be discussed through the application process.
