Roles and Responsibilities
- Support pursuit teams in reviewing RFP requirements and in building corresponding technical content to respond to pursuits
- Build functional prototypes on common CLM solutions in support of identified business needs and proposal demos
- Demonstrates proven thorough abilities and record of success in a role in at least two of the following areas: financial management, accounting, risk management, process improvement, IT effectiveness, ERP implementation, business transformation.
- Enterprise Program Management - assisting in the assessment of client needs and capabilities, providing tools/methodologies and guidance to establish or improve client program management organizations
- Be part of a delivery team in delivering a Contract Lifecycle Management implementation engagement including performing the following activities:
- Gather technical requirements around contract types and corresponding details to configure in a target solution
- Perform gap analysis between identified functional requirements and the capabilities of the identified technical solution and provide recommendations on limitations and alternate solution approaches
- Develop solution architecture for integrations between CLM and related systems such as CRM (Salesforce, etc.), ERP (SAP, etc.), and other integration needs (SSO, e-signature, etc.)
- Conduct / lead technical workshops in understanding current state technology landscape, driving future state requirements, and related technical needs including security, integration, lifecycle activities, reporting, and migration
- Lead / support contract migration data export / import activities
- Manage requirements traceability from analysis through implementation
- Work closely with business stakeholders to perform requirement reviews and signoff sessions
- Review user acceptance tests and functional test scenarios and implement related unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end test scripts
- Develop training materials around the solution configuration
- Conduct “train-the-trainer” sessions with clients to perform knowledge transfer on technical configurations
- Track issues and resolutions on technical requirements
- Work closely with client and vendor technical teams in identifying dependencies and provide inputs to corresponding project plans to manage the dependencies
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science/Communications
Certification(s) Preferred: ICI Foundation Training, ICertis certified ICI Functional Architect (ICIFA) or any other CLM related certifications
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in working with Contract Lifecycle Management solutions on buy-side / sell-side contracts such as Icertis, Apttus, Conga, etc.
- 5+ years of experience in being part of a technology implementation team and possessing strong familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes including requirements gathering, functional testing, and training
- 3+ experience with implementing software solutions using common programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, and .NET
- Must have strong knowledge of the architecture/functions/workflows of ICI or any contract lifecycle management (CLM) system
- Experience in working with related solutions / technologies such as SQL, Version Control Systems (Git, etc.), Issue Management Systems (such as JIRA)
- Experience in designing, development, testing, deployment and maintenance of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) applications
- Experience of collecting, harmonizing, interpreting and analyzing legal content and workflows to scope, design, streamline and configure customer templates and clause libraries into the CLM platform
- Experience in project scoping sessions, interfacing with the clients’ stakeholders, both on-site and remote
Required Communication, Presentations and General skills:
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence that enable effective engagement with senior stakeholders
- Excellent written skills, ability to interpret a security scenario & document a summary
- Demonstrates proven extensive abilities with leveraging creative thinking and problem-solving skills, individual initiative, and utilizing Office 365, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and Google Docs.
- Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts
- Must communicate consistently and drive objectives, relying on fact-based decisions about risk that optimize the trade-off between risk mitigation and business performance.
- Good presentation, project management, facilitation and delivery skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Develop/Implement automation solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned to client business, technology and threat posture.
