Contract Database Specialist

The Provider Contract Specialist 1 is responsible for processing standard provider contracts and maintaining the credentialing/contract database. This position will work with internal departments to support new and re- contracting efforts for all FFS networks in MyCare Medical’s defined health service areas.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, Implement and Maintain Contract Management Database
• Conducts formal review of Contracts and Credentialing documents to ensure provider participation by plan and effective dates are accurate.
• Maintains automated status logs and prepares monthly and periodic reports.
• Provide weekly updates to Business Development VP, Credentialing team and Revenue Cycle Director on database status
• Ensure that provider reimbursements and fee schedules are loaded in EMR and contracts database in accordance with contractual agreements and that provider data is current.
• Responds to team members regarding status of documents and other contracting database related issues.
• Create and maintain provider files and related documentation and process provider data changes and provider terminations in EMR and Contracts database.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a high school diploma and 3+ years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Education:

Experience:

• Database administration: 1 year (Preferred)
• Oracle: 1 year (Preferred)
