Job Description
POSITION DETAILS:
Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts

FTE: Full-Time, 80 hours per 2 week pay period

Location: Main Campus

JOB SUMMARY:
The Contract Administrator will be responsible for administering the contract management system and processes, including tracking a high volume of contracts from creation through final execution, and including some drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating with third parties, and finalizing agreements. The Contract Administrator will act as a subject matter expert and resource to staff regarding the electronic contract management system and contract processing policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years of Contract Administration experience
Knowledge of principles and practices of contract development, negotiation, review, implementation, and management
Working knowledge of federal and state health care law, transactions/contracts, not for profit/taxexempt principles, fraud and abuse laws, and corporate law
Ability to utilize critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as business acumen
Ability to continuously monitor and audit contracts to ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures
Ability to work independently, as well as within a team; to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others and manage conflict productively; communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to deal tactfully with diverse people, situations and ideas and present advisory and authoritative recommendations to all levels of the organization
Experience utilizing a contract management system

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Juris Doctor
Paralegal Certification
0-3 years of legal experience (transactional)
