Content Writer — Space, AI, Robotics, Security, Remote

Stealth Optional is looking to bolster its SEO team. Applicants should be enthusiastic writers looking to inform readers about the latest trends in space, artificial intelligence, robotics and privacy/security.

Applicants should excel at English writing. Ideally, you should already be accustomed to working alongside a team and are able to produce high-quality editorial content in a timely manner.

The perfect candidate should already be well-versed in the world of tech. A knowledge of what readers will be searching for would also ideal.

Applicants do not need to have an extensive body of work, but some writing experience is required.

The Role:

• Work closely with the Stealth Optional (SO) core editorial team to help shape the content strategy and bring users to the site.
• Laser-focused on covering the latest topics in AI, Space, Privacy, Robotics and Crypto well as updating content with fresh information
• Ensuring content is optimised for SEO & with editorial best practice in mind
• Working with the SEO Manager to ensure content is optimised for SEO best practice & are adhering to editorial best practice.
• Work with the Managing Editor to ensure freelance coverage & expertise is expansive and covers a vast array of tech topics.

Essential Skills

• Experience writing proficient copy for an outlet
• A decent understanding of the wider tech world with a will to learn over time
• The ability to research topics to craft engaging, well-informed pieces
• A good knowledge of SEO guidelines and how to optimise articles for search engines
• Conversational — can take direction and engage as part of a team.
• Punctuality and reliability to carry out your shift

Schedule: We’re looking for writers able to cover the US timezone who can work flexible hours covering a 35 hr week.
