The Detroit Free Press seeks an experienced editor to lead a team of accomplished reporters. The exact lineup of reporters will be determined in part by the individual hired and other newsroom needs, but may include leading COVID coverage and other health and social issues topics. The successful candidate will have extensive editing experience, facility with digital journalism requirements, knowledge of successful digital subscription strategies and a track record of successful leadership.
The Free Press is an ambitious news organization in arguably the country’s best news town not named New York or Washington, D.C.
