Job Description
SERVPRO of Minnetonka, one of the fastest growing Disaster Recovery companies in the State is hiring for a Construction Coordinator. This position offers exposure to the different parts of our business, the opportunity to work with various customers and stakeholders and lots of near term upside.

Summary The Construction Coordinator is responsible for tasks related to project pre and post production including contract, deposit invoicing, customer material selections, material orders, project budgets, subcontractor invoicing and project closeouts. General office duties, such as drafting correspondence, filing, and creating reports, are also included within this role.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Customer Satisfaction
- Assist with customer service and management of the customer experience as it relates to pre & post construction.
- Monitor and ensure client requirements are followed.
- Pre Construction
- Send approved estimate with a reconstruction contract to the customer for signature
- Upon receipt of signed contract, bill the appropriate deposit for the project.
- Review project estimate for needed customer selections.
- Project Planning
- Complete site inspection and confirm needed selections.
- Create signs offs for customer selections.
- Maintain customer communications.
- Support CMs ensuring customer agreement on scope and estimate.
- Ensure all paperwork is complete with customer.
- Create budgets for subcontractor billing.
- Interface with Subcontractors for availability.
- Order materials for projects that are being directly purchased.
- Acquire proper permits as necessary and ensure all correct procedures are being followed with local municipalities.
- Post Construction
- Final billing.
- Assist identifying and qualifying resource providers.
- Validate completed PO documentation.
- Update contract status with change orders and keep customer advised.
- Maintain communication log.
- Prepare project reports.
- Upon project completion review file documentation and update as necessary.
- Manage collections activities.
- Perform project close-out.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A minimum two years of business experience
- Working knowledge of current business software technologies
- Superb customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate math skills
- Experience in the restoration and/or construction industry preferred
