We are looking for an exceptionally organized and self-directed Electrical Construction Office Manager to join our team!


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of electrical construction project assistants located nationwide, supporting up to fifty active projects, and 150 projects annually.
  • Experience and clear understanding of construction cycles in the building construction industry (Electrical)
  • Responsible for ensuring consistency, accuracy and on-schedule delivery of all administrative support to Project Managers.
  • Provide initial training to all newly hired Project Assistants, and ongoing education/training to existing PAs/team members.
  • Experience with the management, submittal and tracking of pay applications for construction projects, including AIA and lien waivers
  • Responsible for new vendor setup for subcontractors, and ensuring compliance regulations are met.
  • Process day-to-day administrative items per supervisor’s request (i.e. expense reports, supply requisitions, POS, HR transaction forms, budgets, etc.)
  • Responsible for assisting PMs with permit requests, tracking and the scheduling of inspections.
  • Responsible for assisting PMs with the creation, issuance and tracking of Purchase Orders and processing invoices.
  • Responsible for issuing time reporting equipment, fobs, timeclocks and processing weekly time reporting for field employees and subcontractors
  • Other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of 5 years construction/electrical administrative experience, leading teams and supervising the performance of administrative support to construction project managers.
  • Proficiency and experience creating, editing and analyzing Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PDF files and Power Point presentations.
  • Expertise with using HRIS system in support of project management requirements – KRONOS is preferred.
  • Ability to create, navigate, search and update Rogers Electric’s systems (work orders, reports, quotes, invoices etc., emails)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others. Team player who uses discretion and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in addition to strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask (using several screens and browsers and the same time, talk on the phone while navigating the system)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency and complete them in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to browse the internet and also use the internal systems and websites for our customers
  • Other duties as assigned
