The Builder
Know how to incorporate super intricate construction elements into fully functioning multifamily homes, including envelope sealing, mechanical systems, insulation, energy efficiency, windows, and siding- Familiar with accepted building practices including techniques, code requirements, market pricing, and permitting processes
- Prefer a job that allows you to wear steel-toe boots, hard hats, and work gloves
- Always ensure quality deliverables in your projects – without exceeding agreed-upon time and budgetary restrictions
The Business Manager
Wield sharp quantitative, reporting, strategic planning, and procurement skills to run your building projects like the business that they are- Work closely with Development and Investment teams to produce in-depth scope/price documents that identify value for residents and stakeholders
- Lead construction meetings, tracking project details, costs, issues, and timelines
- Keep Operations and Investment executives in the loop on the progress made by all your teams and vendors
- Manage and inspect contractors’ work, identifying tasks that can be performed safer, cleaner, or more efficiently
The Renovator
Energized by the opportunity to transform old, grungy spaces into modern, inviting communities- Enjoy finding creative ways to revitalize pre-existing structures, understanding the value you can create through renovations
- Manage the design process from schematic drawings to 100% construction drawings
- Stay up to speed on all the latest cost-saving techniques, code requirements, market prices, and permitting processes
- Seek out ways to convert multifamily homes into more energy efficient structures, as well as build cleaner and with a lower impact

- Stellar 5+ year track record in the construction field (preferably in multifamily or hotel), managing multiple projects at different stages of construction and renovation
- Knowledgeable in legal contracts, AIA docs, and other construction drawing forms
- Solid understanding of due diligence process and associated deliverables
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities with superior analytical and costing skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, or Architecture and Design
- Proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) and Adobe Acrobat
- Expert knowledge of Timberline
