Construction Estimator/Project Manager

Construction is seeking Construction Estimator/PM to join their general construction team. He / She will be responsible for preparing construction estimates, budgets, and bidding for assigned projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Knowledge of how to read ad comprehend blueprints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Review proposal specifications and architectural and engineering drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Produce construction budgets based on schematic drawings, site walkthroughs, or construction documents.
• Responsible for developing and writing proposals with detailed qualifications and cost breakdowns.
• Solicit subcontractor bids for assigned projects.
• Attend Walk-Thru to check Field Condition & Prepare Better Estimates.
• Manage multiple simultaneous estimation projects with consistent on-time delivery.
• Construction management or related degree from accredited university or 5 years construction experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word necessary
• Experience in using Bluebeam software for takeoffs

Desired Job Requirements * Prior work experience with a Construction Management, Construction, or Architecture & Engineering firm.

• 8-hour shift * Monday to Friday
• Construction Estimating: min. 5 years (Preferred)
• Project Estimating: min. 5 years (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
