Construction Estimator

Job Brief:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced construction estimator and should have a deep knowledge and understanding of the construction industry in Palm Beach County. In addition to this you should be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail, as well as verbal and written communication skills. This is a Full-Time position, and is based on-site at the company headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Required Skills:

• Candidates must have a construction estimating background to develop timely and accurate estimates and bids for construction projects.
• Shell construction and purchasing experience is preferred.
• Candidate must be able to read structural and architectural plans and have a good knowledge based on field experience of labor costs/times.
• Candidates should have familiarity with construction estimating and project management software. Pro Contractor experience a plus.
• Candidate must be familiar with the change order, submittal, request for information process.
• Candidate needs basic knowledge of concrete, rebar, structural steel, trusses, tie beams, foundations, and flooring systems.
• Candidate should have a high level of computer literacy with a knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel.
• Candidate should have strong communication skills, working closely with their team, contractors, and suppliers to ensure client expectations are exceeded throughout the duration of the project.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
