Construction Equipment Operator

The LFS Group is seeking experienced Construction Equipment Operators!

**Job Description**

Our Equipment Operators may be asked to operate machines such as a skid steer, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader, scrapper, compactor, and other standard construction equipment as well. It is very important to have knowledge of most of these machines as any of them may be used on the job site according to the needs of each project. Equipment Operators will complete maintenance and perform daily inspections of the machines to ensure Safety and Efficiency are consistent. A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards.

**Skills/Requirements**

- Minimum 2 years of Machine Operation experience

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus

- CDL preferred

- Willingness to travel ENCOURAGED

- Attention to Detail: It is very important that the operator is consistently focused on the task at hand on site during operation and is able to ensure each task is taken care of with the utmost amount of care and focus

- STRONG understanding of machine operation safety procedures and protocols

- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals

- Analytical skills

- Teamwork and communication skills

- Physical stamina and strength

PLEASE NOTE: We only use electronic timesheets to record hours worked and a smartphone with a data plan is required for each employee to utilize our App, send messages and answer any checkout questions required before clocking out at the end of the shift.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
