We are looking to hire those who have been in the building construction industry for at least FIVE years, and have direct hands-on carpentry experience, with references.

BUILDING CONSTRUCTION CARPENTER Duties include (BUT NOT LIMITED TO!!):

• Drywall partition framing & drywall installation
• Window & door installation
• Finish carpentry (wood moldings, wood handrails, door trim, etc.)
• Door hardware installation
• Cement board & bathroom waterproofing membrane installation
• Wood floor patching
• Rough carpentry (floor joists, exterior & roof sheathing, floor underlayment, etc.)
• Drop drywall & ACT ceiling framing
• Wood stairs installations

Qualifications:

• MUST possess excellent communication skills and follow instruction from the field supervisor
• MUST be detail-oriented, work neatly
• MUST have own hand tools, basic power tools (And know how to use them!)
• MUST have an OSHA-30 card
• MUST be able to legally work in the US and have a social security card
• ALL compensation is STRICTLY on the books. No Cash. No Exceptions!
• Basic PLUMBING skills/knowledge is a plus
• Basic ELECTRICAL skills/knowledge is a plus
• Basic CONCRETE/MASONRY skills/knowledge is a plus
• Basic TAPING/PAINTING skills/knowledge is a plus
• Basic HVAC skills/knowledge is a plus
• A VALID NYS Driver's License is a plus
• Basic blueprint reading is a plus
