Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time working Field Supervisor to perform and oversee highway maintenance operations in the Dallas, Houston, and Austin, TX area during night shifts. This position requires 75% travel to perform a variety of tasks related to highway maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

Required Experience:
Must be able to speak Spanish and translate for employees
Minimum 2 years working in highway maintenance or related field
Basic knowledge Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Google Earth
Strong leadership qualities; must have experience in working, overseeing, and leading construction crews
Must be able to travel 75% of the time
Concrete forming and repair experience
Roadway maintenance experience
Wheel loader, Skidsteer, Forklift, Air drill, Asphalt roller, etc operator
MOT Certifications (traffic control)

Preferred Experience:
Snow and Ice removal experience
TCP - Traffic control planner
CDL A Driver license a plus
Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
Carry out simple arithmetic functions
Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
Ability to use smart phone and applications
Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds; strenuous manual labor may be required
Ability to operate hand/power tools

Schedule:
Full time, Night shift, Sunday - Thursday. Some Friday and Saturday mornings. Must be flexible and be able to work nights, days, and weekends if necessary for operations. Will work during snow and ice events, and other weather related events.
