Computer Technician - Deployment

We are a growing Technology company in Elk Grove Village is looking for a Computer Technician to assist in a large deployment project.

Successful candidates will be required to:

• Complete delivery & installation of laptops and desktops for end-users

• Assist with imaging laptops and desktops
• Assist with asset tracking and documentation
• Assist with inventory management
• Assist with hardware shipping functions
• Assist IT team with end-user support
• Support IT team with laptop refresh activities as needed
• Deploy computer replacements either remotely or in person

In addition, the right candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Follow instructions and to communicate effectively.
• Be willing to commit to a full-time (8am to 5pm) 6-month contract (1099).
• Own a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance.
• Pass County, State or Nationwide background checks.
• Pass a 10-panel drug test.
• Be willing to drive within Chicago, IL.
• Be able to carry and assemble a computer, load Operating System, drivers and applications.
• Report time-sheets accurately and promptly on a weekly basis.
• Be able to communicate with teammates, clients and peers efficiently, respectfully and professionally.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
