As a Systems Analyst (technology support technician), you will be required to provide support for a wide range of technical issues relating to the home and small business markets. The position involves troubleshooting issues relating to hardware, operating systems and applications and providing an appropriate level of advice on technical issues to a non-technical audience. You will be required to manage customer requests from receiving the initial call to resolving the issue which could involve traveling to another site or use of remote software. You must have a good driving record and be able to drive a company vehicle on a daily basis.
Common tasks include recommending and configuring software and hardware to resolve issues and improve the performance of computer environments. Systems Analysts install, configure, monitor, and manage software to manage our client’s system environments. They also install, modify and make minor repairs to computer hardware and software systems and provides technical assistance and training to system users
Experience:
- Very good knowledge of Windows 10 and other current operating systems
- Very good knowledge of Windows networking technologies
- Very good knowledge of PC/Server hardware
- Very good understanding of MS Office Applications (Office 2013, 2016 and Office 365)
- Good knowledge of understanding routers, switches and other networking equipment
- Experience with Windows Server 2012 and higher desired
- Experience with handheld mobile devices desired
- Experience in using Apple computers desired
Daily Tasks:
- Have high-quality customer facing inter-personal skills
- Resolve technical issues with customer PC’s, servers or peripheral devices. This will involve having a good working knowledge of:
- Microsoft Operating Systems
- PC Hardware
- Common peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, internet routers, etc.
- TCP/IP networking
- Internet technologies
- Common office applications
- Travel to customer’s premises and deal with resolving technical issues either offsite or onsite. (this may include transporting customer’s equipment)
- Represent our company in a professional manner
- Be able to work on your own initiative
- Provide advice or customer training when necessary
- Write technical documents and procedures when necessary
- Keep abreast of new developments in software and hardware
Because of the changing nature of our business, your job description will inevitably change. You will from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within your capabilities as directed by management.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
