Description

SAIC is seeking a Computer Network Defense Engineer with an active TS/SCI Polygraph to work onsite with our customer at Ft. Meade in Maryland.
This position is in support of future work associated with MARFORCYBER. This role is contingent upon award in the Spring of 2021.
Network Defense Designer shall:

• Provide engineering support to monitor and evaluate security measures for networks, communication systems, and other IT based communication infrastructure or systems.
• Design and integrate Computer Network Defense (CND) mechanisms, including anti-spam tools, Network Access Control, Host Based Security System (HBSS), and HBSS Device Control Modules at Enterprise locations under the direction of the government.
• Assist in executing government provided, solutions or Project Management tasks developed in the approved POA&M for MARFORCYBER efforts involving network defense.
• Develop designs and plans for the implementation of Services involving the Enterprise Security Infrastructure Sensor Grid. This sensor grid collects intrusion, incident, and audit data from a collection of sources including butnot limited to:
• Content Monitoring products
• Content Filtering products
• HBSS for servers and hosts

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience, or 4 years of additional experience accepted in lieu of degree
• 5 years of experience installing, operating, and maintaining network security tools and application
• IAM Level II Certification

Clearance Requirement:

• Candidate must currently possess and be able to maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph.
