The Component Manufacturing Manager oversees the production and distribution activities at our 256,000 square foot factory in Green Cove Springs, FL - responsibility includes production oversight of trusses, walls panels, floor panels, EWP, and other manufactured products. This individual will direct supervisors, and hourly employees in daily production functions, have P&L responsibility, focus on process improvement, cost control, safety, and business KPI’s. All production supports our field labor only.

Job Duties:

• Provides direction for supervisors and hourly personnel in the production of floor and roof trusses, wall panels, and floor panel production. Monitor efficiencies within departments, such as manpower demand, overtime needs, and adherence to delivery schedules.
• Produce daily production reports illustrating key metrics of efficiency and overall operations. Coordinate inventory control of materials, maintenance operations, and safety programs with other managers and supervisors
• Manage quality control programs, maintains orderly schedule, and production team.
• Assigns work to department personnel in accordance with the production schedule.
• Works with the department to schedule repair and maintenance of equipment.
• The manager becomes a key member of our innovation team that strives to constantly improve processes, means, and methods of manufacturing as well as industry adaptation of technology and advanced framing processes.
• Conduct interviews, approves hiring, vacations, wage increases, and training and development of new employees.
• Works to build and maintain a highly efficient, highly skilled team of individuals and creates an atmosphere of accomplishment promoting employee retention.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in component production management.
• Must be familiar with Mitek equipment and software.
• Must be highly motivated and have experience managing supervisors and workgroups with over 100+ associates.
• Is detail-oriented.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• Must be able to prove eligibility to work in the United States.
• Able to work overtime when necessary
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Operating nail gun
• Lifting material and equipment from 10 lbs. and up.
• Excessive bending, kneeling, twisting, and crouching.
• Exposure to loud noise from machinery and tools.
• Exposure to falling and flying particles.

Salary: The rate of pay will be commensurate with experience. The bonus structure includes RSU grants.
