Compliance Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be a compliance specialist supporting the organization in establishing and maintaining industry best compliance practices and providing regulatory compliance support to our business partners.

You will:

  • Provide recommendations to the business units on implementation actions resulting from changes in laws and regulations, and oversee and consult on the implementation

  • Develop reports and other metrics to monitor ongoing compliance activities

  • Act as an integral business partner by providing strategic, transactional and day-to-day compliance advice and direction

  • Build strong relationships with internal business partners and work as part of cross-functional teams

  • Track, monitor and distribute relevant legal and regulatory changes

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years in compliance, insurance, risk management and/or audit areas

  • Four-year college degree or other related field or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to analyze and interpret federal and state regulatory documentation

  • Knowledge of insurance products, laws and services preferred

  • Strong research and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Organized and detail oriented

  • Ability to interact well with wide range of internal professionals

  • Adept at handling multiple matters efficiently and concurrently

  • Creative, resourceful, and strategic thinker
