Job Summary
The Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the process of obtaining permission from municipalities to utilize the Company's products/services. The Compliance Manager will work hand in hand with AMAROK's Installation and Sales departments to ensure achievement of common goals and KPIs set by AMAROK.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Obtain permits utilizing tools such as applications, site plans, online research and other required materials from jurisdictions
- Research, interpret and document process to gain approval for AMAROK's products and services for municipalities within assigned region
- Assist Directors in preparation for in-person meetings with municipalities
- Submittal for permits, variances and other necessary approvals using appropriate process (mail, online, 3rd party, etc.)
- Collect all necessary items for sought approval such as, including knox boxes, site plans, signed applications, hold harmless agreements and other items required by jurisdiction
Ideal candidate
- Previous working experience in Government Relations or Project Management
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university (preferred)
- Previous experience working with governmental entities to gain permitting approval
- Ability to interpret codes and requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience using Sedona, Salesforce and Microsoft office systems preferred
