Job Description
PMG Vegetation Control provides vegetation management solutions on both public and private lands. We develop and integrate industry-leading technology to provide services to governments, mining, oil and gas, and renewable energy companies across the intermountain west.
Description:
Our Company Controller will provide an integral part of our company management team.
Detailed Job activities include:
- Assist in the preparation of goals and strategies for the fiscal management of multiple related companies.
- Prepare financial documents including profitability reports, financial forecasts, and statements to describe the financial capability of the business
- Supervise employees who work in AP and AR in completing their tasks and maintaining compliance with legal requirements
- Regularly evaluate the fiscal impact of market strategies in vegetation control and optimize costs and investments
- Manage fiscal policies to meet legal requirements and maintain good financial standing with clients and vendors.
- Work with software developers to continue the development of real-time expense and income data processes.
- Take an active part of the management team in making financial decisions and determining business needs
- Understand and maintain the parent business and subsidiaries corporate structure
- Track income and expenses for multiple closely-held companies including understanding the legal and financial requirements to keep financial records in good standing between the companies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
- 3-years Accounting experience
- Experience in company Financial Leadership
- Experience in Quickbooks and Office software
- Experience in managing other financial and accounting team members
