The Community Relations Representative is a key member of the marketing and sales team to achieve new project reservations according to project goals. The incumbent maintains an active presence in the sales office and at marketing events generating interest and securing reservations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work with Community Relations Director to implement sales plan to attract inquiries and secure reservations for accommodations according to Proforma fill rate
- Collaborate with Wesley Marketing Department to ensure lead generation through advertising and events
- Assist with coordinating
- Customization process
- Move-in process and opening
- Follow procedures to ensure information in marketing lead database is accurate and complete
- Produce monthly reports as requested including sales activity
- Other duties as assigned (Understand surrounding market and competitive properties, demonstrate a commitment to the mission statement of Wesley to residents, families, employees and the community, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education Background
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing or healthcare preferred.

- Work Experience
- Three (3) years experience in sales and/or marketing roles, preferably in health care, housing or community service.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
- Pleasant demeanor, including good communication and public relations skills
- Demonstrated compatibility with Wesley Homes’ mission and operating philosophies.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to walk three to four hours per day.
- Position requires repetitive motion such as working on computer terminal.
- Be able to stand, sit, bend, and lift as necessitated by the job responsibilities.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to drive.
- Some travel required.
- Willingness to work beyond normal working hours. Weekend coverage required.
