The RoleAre you a creative thinker who brings a passion and a unique perspective to community partnership and marketing? If so, we'd love to talk to you! We are hiring for a Community & Partnerships Lead to lead the community marketing and outreach efforts for our new Globe Brand. In this role you'll define vision and develop overarching community/member strategies and determine how to execute on that vision on various platforms (such as Reddit and Discord) while also maintaining an innovative understanding of standard methodologies, trends, and tactics to grow engagement.
How You’ll Make a Difference- Build the Globe online and offline community inclusive of riders, ambassadors and brand & marketing partners and serve as the voice of Globe.
- Identify secure and manage brand, ambassador, media/pr and community partnership opportunities.
- Own and manage Community and rider facing communications, inclusive of Community updates on Discord, Reddit and other social platforms
- Conceptualize and execute on affiliate marketing program
- Demonstrated ability to connect communities to new brands
- Ability to interpret data, garner practical insights from that data, and owning detailed community metric reports
- Track record of leading all aspects of the creative pipeline and managing relationship with internal teams and external agencies
- Experience in helping to build new community, content, programs
- Lead IRL & digital events inclusive of demo, trial, events, experiences
- Ability to work in a start up style environment. We work as a collaborative team and ALL wear many hats.
- 5+ years of experience in community management or community development.
- 5+ years Membership Strategy development
- 3+ years Experience working and Agency preferably for a large brand
- Written skills, experienced in creating copy in many different formats
- 3+ years Experience using social analytics tools and project management tools
- An established network(s)/relationships working with ambassadors, brand partnership teams
- Budget management skills
- Professional creative, design, fine arts, or writing backgrounds preferred.
- Mastery of the social tools such as Facebook Ads Manager, Later, applying analytical findings, social listening, trend forecasting, Adwords, etc.
- Working knowledge base of an active/fitness/transportation cycling categories is preferred but not entirely necessary with higher levels of experience.
