About the Position

RK Properties is seeking an experienced Community Manager to manage a (22)-unit property located in the (Anaheim, CA) area. Our ideal candidate for this role will be a dynamic leader, possessing the ability to motivate and lead teams, seasoned in financial & variance reporting, market savvy, and proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel), Property Management Software (e.g. Yardi, On-Site), and have a passion for excellence and customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Community Manager is responsible for the overall supervision and performance of the property. Some additional duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Implement marketing strategies and training that will contribute to achieving the property occupancy expectations.
  • Must be fully capable to track collections, evictions, vacancy rates, trends, outreach marketing, lease renewals, service contracts and closing ratios.
  • Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance customer satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue and an overall positive reputation.
  • Ensure that leasing/marketing goals are being met daily.
  • Maintain positive relations with all community vendors and make sure best quality and prices are being sought after.
  • Coordinate special projects as requested by National and District Managers.
  • Tour the community and applying your product knowledge to the prospects needs to communicate the features/benefits; close on all prospects!
  • Rent Café, Onsite and YARDI® Check Scan experience is preferred.

Job Requirements

Bi-lingual Spanish speaker preferred.
Prior experience as an on-site manager preferred.
Prior experience in multifamily property management operations preferred.
Must have knowledge in property management software (Yardi, On-Site).
Must have essential knowledge in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel).
Knowledge of fair housing laws with experience in local, state, and federal requirements.

Competitive Salary with Rent Discount
