We are seeking a Communications Manager to join our Consulting Marketing team to lead internal communications for Deloitte Consulting's Talent and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) priority campaigns and initiatives.

What you'll do:

- Building comprehensive communications strategies, engagement and execution plans aligned to Talent + DEI priorities that are grounded in communications' best practices and a deep understanding of how the business operates
- Fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders to develop clear, consistent, and creative communications to drive strategic Talent + DEI objectives
- Regularly collecting and analyzing data to support internal stakeholders in understanding performance of communications' tactics; adjusting strategies and optimizing approaches in an agile fashion based on performance benchmarks and KPIs
- Crafting and delivering impactful content designed around storytelling principles and human-centric, inclusive language to personalize the narrative in a way that resonates, is relatable, and captures Deloitte's unique culture and values
- Collaborating and aligning with internal stakeholders to activate and cascade or reinforce priority business messages and campaigns across network channels
- Managing and optimizing internal communications channels and vehicles to maximize message impact and drive meaningful engagement with internal audiences
- Liaising with junior resources to support execution and performance measurement / metrics of internal communications tactics
- Contributing to a high-performing team by sharing best practices across communications, marketing, and business stakeholders / cohorts in support of communications excellence across the organization
- Investigating and piloting technologies and content solutions designed to enhance the impact of the internal communications organization

Qualifications include:
- Communications professional with a minimum of 9 plus years relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, English, and / or Journalism
- Proven success in developing and executing internal communications strategies / plans for a large business, preferably in professional services
- Experience with and / or a deep understanding of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage expectations across multiple, complex projects / priorities
- Analytical mindset, with ability to interpret data into meaningful insights and strategies
- Detail-oriented with fantastic follow-through skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills-including effective storytelling, presentation skills, and ability to engage with and advise senior executives
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a cross-functional, virtual team; experience in large corporate settings and / or professional services a plus
- Flexibility and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while possessing a high level of comfort with ambiguity
- Proficient in MS Office suite-including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and One Drive; knowledge of the latest internal communications measurement platforms a plus
- Travel of up to 10% (While up to 10% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
