Job Description
General Purpose:
- Demonstrates broad knowledge of the Procurement functions and its capabilities to support business objectives
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues and opportunities within business sourcing models bringing a fresh approach to existing practices
- Survey the market landscape and take proactive measures to mitigate supply chain risks and position Corsair for success.
Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
We seek an individual contributor who can manage and own aspects of the procurement and supply base for Corsair PC systems and PC components to ensure optimum cost and delivery.
Supplier Management
- Coordinates supplier reliability evaluations via supplier visits, analysis of cost reports, supplier P&L statements, D&B reports, quality system audits, and other data; compiles comprehensive supplier visit reports.
- Develops requests for information/proposal/quotation; Analyzes responses, compiles summary report and formulates recommendations for management review. Drives the supplier selection and onboarding process.
- Maintains supplier scorecard with KPI’s that report supplier performance and perform supplier Quarter Business Reviews.
- Manages the creation of supplier reverse logistics processes for new business initiatives.
- Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with suppliers at the executive level.
Cost Management
- Negotiates with suppliers to obtain most favorable price, schedule, and terms and conditions; Follows up orders to expedite delivery and shipment as required.
- Identify and lead life cycle cost down projects including opportunity management for large scale upside purchases.
- Track spend and cost-savings and set quarterly projections and targets to achieve and set global strategy aligned to business needs
Procurement and Sourcing Management
- Develops performance metrics and drives initiatives to ensure goals are met on schedule.
- Manages complex and/or long-term contracts.

- Participates in new product development/introduction teams, concurrent engineering, value engineering and other cost-savings efforts;
- Frequently interacts with individuals in administrative or executive positions within company and supplier organizations to obtain and provide information; consults on problems requiring judgment and tact; develops and maintains good working relationships with suppliers.
- Procures materials, expense items, equipment and services within the provisions of applicable Government laws and regulations and Company Policy.
- Ensures all procurement activities comply with the Company's Code of Ethics & Business Conduct Guidelines, Purchasing Policies & Procedures, and legal & ethical business practices.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement
- Must be able to demonstrate a highly successful track record in a commercial environment including significant experience in high-level face to face negotiations
- Experience working with a global focus
- A strong communicator capable of building relationships at all levels within the organization and a team player
- Must be prepared to travel to engage and lead all global teams to deliver exceptional value.
- Excellent communication (written & oral), interpersonal and presentation skills, along with strong analytical and project management skills.
