Commercial Lines Account Manager

Higgins Insurance is a locally owned independent insurance agency founded in 1897. We have office locations in Hopkinsville, KY and Clarksville, TN.
We are looking for a customer service oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities for this position include:

• Assist in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts.
• Provide prompt, efficient, high-quality service to designated accounts in support of Producer activities.
• Work directly with customers and insurance carriers to fulfill requests for customers.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation of customer and carrier interactions to minimize the potential for errors & omissions claims.

Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred. Property and Casualty Insurance license and experience preferred but not required. Insurance, Finance, and/or customer service background a plus.
Must possess the ability to use a personal computer, calculator, agency automation system, and demonstrate proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to all Microsoft Office software suite programs. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multitasking office environment.
