Eligibility Criteria

  • 1+ year teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Have earned a B or better in the course you wish to tutor (you will also be required to pass our proficiency exam).
  • Have a 3.0 (out of 4.0) GPA in your field of study (not just your overall GPA).
  • Be fluent in English and have excellent communications skills.
  • Ideally be able to work at least 10 hours a week (but again, you can work with just 1 student).
  • Be able to work until the end of the semester you're working (i.e. if you're helping a student during the Fall quarter, you must be available to your students until the end of finals of that quarter).

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
While we always focused on in-person tutoring in the past, online tutoring is likely. No previous experience is required, but applicants should research possible tools (e.g. Zoom) and take time to practice using those tools before meeting with a student.
