Coffee Shop Supervisor

We’re a new Veteran-owned coffee shop in Apex and we’re looking for the perfect coffee shop supervisor who can be the heart of our business.

Our supervisor will provide direction and friendliness. We need someone who is ready to hit the ground running with experience in coffee service. A positive attitude, excellent judgment skills, and the drive to help move our business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop
• Solving challenges faced by customers and employees
• Overseeing cleanliness and maintenance of the shop
• Assist in hiring and training employees
• Adjusting menu to maintain customer flow
• Assist in maintaining inventory, ordering, and receiving products

Necessary Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of trends in the coffee industry
• Ability to prepare a variety of beverages
• Basic money handling skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with patrons and employees
• Self-motivated and inspiring
• Ability to prioritize effectively
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability during operational hours (may include nights, weekends, and holidays)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• 1-year of experience as a barista
• Current food safety certification

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per year
