rograms a variety of CNC machines including HAAS Vertical Machining Centers with 3 or 4 axis, MAZAK Mill Turn, and MAZAK Lathes to machine metallic and nonmetallic workpieces in a production environment. Applies knowledge of machine shop procedures, programming knowledge, variety of machine-tool setup and operating techniques. Trouble shoots programs with operators to set up and run the various machines using the correct speeds, feeds, and tools to assure the machine is operating at its peak performance as well as assuring that the completed work meets in house requirements.E

- inimum 5 years’ experience setting up and running miscellaneous CNC machinesM
- inimum 2 years’ experience programming Mill Turn Lathes and VMCs using offline CAM software'sE
- xperience with computer programming; G&M codesA
- bility to read and understand basic blue prints and sketches and follow verbal directionsA
- bility to use calipers and micrometersW
- orking knowledge of drawings, symbols, GD&T, tolerances and common terminologyA
- comprehensive understanding of feeds and speeds for end mills, drills, reamers, saws, taps, etc. for aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass, and plasticsC
