CNC Operator/Machinist

Set up of interrelated multiple machine tools such as presses and grinders. Works with intricate and precision equipment.

Modifies operation, develops and recommends standard operating procedure and/or specifications for new or existing processes.

Fabricates parts, and/or equipment on the basis of engineering drawings and/or customer specs.

Verifies set up by using proper instruments.

Operate equipment to select correct speeds and feeds.

Develops and writes CNC programs necessary for efficient machine tool operation.

Must be a High School Graduate

Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to closely follow both written and verbal instructions.

Work is controlled by firmly established procedures, following prescribed instruction, procedure, and practice.

Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, calculation of percentages).

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

Miscellaneous material handling.

General housekeeping.

Employee should be open to move to other departments as needed

Other tasks as required by the E&S Department Supervisor and other manufacturing departments.
