Job Description
Overview: Mid-Columbia Medical Center is currently seeking a Certified Nurse’s Assistant to join the Critical Care department.
This is a full time, varied shift position, and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits and time off package.

Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting licensed nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care. Participates as a member of the health care team under the direction of a licensed nurse as defined by Standards and Authorized Duties for Certified Nursing Assistants in the Nurse Practice Act (ORS 678.150-678.442 {851.062-0010 thru 851.062-00135 June 2010}). Also assists with clerical functions, housekeeping, and patient transportation throughout the hospital. May perform unit clerk responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:Education:

- Graduated from an accredited CNA and CNA 2 program
- Oregon Current Licensure as a CNA: Current CNA 2 (Acute Care) certification required.
- BLS certification required
- Experience with using everyday technology tools (e.g., email, voicemail, internet/intranet, EMR)
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to work well on multi-disciplinary team
