Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create CMM programs for Aero engine and Structural components
  • Prove out components on customer CMMs.
  • Work with customer engineers and inspectors to prove out programs, including programs originally created by customer.
  • Provide expert level feedback and input to manufacturing engineers, process planners, quality engineers, inspectors and others as a member of a cross functional team to ensure successful delivery of all projects.

Specialized Knowledge / Skills
  • Read and understand Engineering drawings
  • Understand all GD&T symbols and be able to apply GD&T requirements for CMM programming.
  • Experience in at least one of the following CMM programming languages:
    • PC-DMIS
    • CALYPSO
  • Hands on experience of manual inspection techniques.
  • Strong fundamental knowledge in Quality Engineering
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality requirements

Education, Training, and Experience
  • BS in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or minimum 7 years related experience
  • Minimum 3-8 years hands on experience in CMM programming
