Overview

The Clinical Supervisor, AbleTo Academy will provide direction to and clinical oversight of the Program Advisors who support the onboarding and training of our part-time, contracted Therapists. AbleTo Academy is a provider's introduction - not only to their new role - but to AbleTo's mission, vision, and core values. The Academy strives to ensure that each individual has a seamless and supported experience from the moment they sign an offer letter through their graduation into our tenured provider community. The goal of AbleTo Academy is to ensure that participant clinical care has the appropriate quality oversight, while new providers are orienting to the position and acclimating to the systems and supports in place to facilitate success.


What You'll Do:

The Clinical Supervisor, AbleTo Academy will:

  • Provide direction and guidance to AbleTo Academy Program Advisors in order to provide the highest quality of clinical care and safety oversight to AbleTo participants; ensure that provider performance measures remain high across Program Advisors.
  • Monitor providers' progress through the Academy to ensure that we are achieving our key priorities: capacity growth, provider retention, and productivity maximization.
  • Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Clinical Onboarding Operations, participate in the development of clearly identified objectives and key results for the AbleTo Academy Clinical team, based on the organization's operational roadmap.
  • Communicate the roadmap, objectives, and key results to direct reports and partners to deliver on key results
  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives by working directly with the Sr. Manager, Clinical Onboarding Operations and the Onboarding Supervisor to translate initiatives into actionable projects
  • Manage team of Program Advisors by providing coaching/professional development and performance management to deliver on these actionable projects
  • Identify resource or system issues that impact clinical service processes and work across departments to find and implement solutions
  • Use data and analytics to identify areas of opportunity to improve clinical service processes and procedures, intervene and analyze interventions
  • Support the Sr. Manager of Clinical Quality and Clinical Services leadership to implement quality improvement initiatives across the Academy clinical team and providers
  • Respond to participant complaints or critical incidents that are escalated from Program Advisors, other departments, or external customers
  • Work with Program Advisors to design and monitor performance and quality-related interventions to ensure high performing providers are supported and retained; ensure that termination decisions are made in a timely fashion
  • Identify learning needs and provide the Learning and Development Team with clinical content for training, support develop materials and content for team meetings, or develop communications to Academy providers.
  • Support recruitment efforts of new Program Advisors in collaboration with the AbleTo People management team to support AbleTo Academy.
  • Train and onboard new Program Advisors and work to identify solutions to retain high performing Program Advisors
  • Support the Director of Clinical Compliance and Sr. Manager of Clinical Quality to ensure that AbleTo's clinical services policies and procedures are in line with all accrediting bodies regulations and requirements
  • Work to ensure that AbleTo providers have the tools that they need to provide the highest level of quality clinical care to AbleTo participants

Who You Are:


  • Masters degree in clinical social work, counseling, or other behavioral health discipline with an active, unrestricted license to practice independently in a private practice setting (LCSW, LPC or equivalent).
  • At minimum 5 years of clinical practice with 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a people management position required, managing process improvement
  • Ability to participate in organizational strategy and growth processes
  • Knowledge of health information related to adult health and mental health, including co-occurring conditions.
  • Ability to work as a team member with fellow co-workers and agency staff.
  • Ability to plan, execute, check results and improve on a continuing basis
  • Discipline and organization to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You understand the importance of data in decision making, and you have the skills to both utilize data to take action and tell a data story which can convince key stakeholders to take action
  • You are adept at project management, and you can keep yourself and others organized through a complex process
  • You have the ability to plan, execute, evaluate results and improve on a continual basis
  • You thrive in team environments demonstrating collaborative communication skills and engagement
  • You are accepting of feedback and open to guidance from others
  • You have the ability to work independently and take initiative
