We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented individual for our Clinical Secretary position at Claremont Child Services location. The ideal candidate is great with kids of all ages (and their parents or guardians!), will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment. Must maintain confidentiality!
This is a busy clinic and the individual must be able to remain calm and organized. Previous experience working with the public and various age groups a plus. The ideal candidate is customer service driven with a genuine interest in the well-being of those we serve.
Position responsibilities include (partial list):
- Process requests for disclosure of protected health information
- Track client state certification
- Schedule patient appointments
- Create and maintain all client records
- Data entry and report generation
- Manage multiline phone system
Position Requirements include:
- High School diploma and/or GED
- Relevant work experience in an office setting, health care setting a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to transcribe/type accurately
- Knowledge of medical terminology desired
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) working Monday-Fridays
