About This Role:
The Physician Assistant Program , within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is currently seeking a Clinical Program Specialist to join their team. This position will assist the Clinical Director with the administrative aspects of planning and coordinating the clinical phase of the program. This position will report to the Clinical Director and has a proposed starting date of January 2022 .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
Assist clinical director in the direction, structure, organization, and scheduling of rotations in the clinical year
Assist clinical director with weekly monitoring of patient encounters through Exxat
Establish and maintain affiliation agreements with preceptors and affiliated institutions
Maintain and keep the clinical aspect of ARC-PA's portal updated with preceptor and institution affiliation agreements and active status
Assist program director with ARC-PA compliance
Participate in ongoing and periodic program self-assessment
Maintain student and program liability insurance
Ensure/maintain the confidentiality of student information
Monitor students' background checks, drug screenings, and the immunization process
Assist students with institutional credentialing
Monitor student registration for second and third-year students
Enter second and third-year students' grades into the program's grade book
Register first-year students on NCCPA's website
Participate in the program's admissions process
Regularly attend all faculty/staff meetings
Monitor for and respond to student emails, direct PA Program telephone calls, and distribute mail
Assist in promoting the program among healthcare providers and the community
Participate in the program's job sharing/training initiative to become familiar with duties involving academic, admissions, and simulation responsibilities
Perform duties in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the program

What You'll Need to Succeed:Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma
Four years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
2 years administrative experience in medical/healthcare setting or health professions school
Knowledge of configuration and use of computerized database programs
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-starter who works well with little supervision and can multi-task
