Required Skills


ANMC is currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager for our high acuity, fast paced Critical Care (CCU/ICU) and Progressive Care Units (PCU). The successful candidate will have:


  • Ability to direct others and negotiate for desired results.
  • Ability to work well as part of the leadership team.
  • Demonstrates decision-making and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Clinical competency in specialty area.
  • Professional role model behavior required.
  • Demonstrates competence with Microsoft Office applications.

Required Experience


REQUIRED

  • Unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Alaska by start date
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required, MSN preferred
  • 3 years of experience in critical care specialty is required
  • 1 year of previous leadership experience is required
  • BLS
  • ACLS

PREFERRED

  • TNCC
  • CCRN
