The Emergency Medicine Department within the University of Missouri (MU) School of Medicine is seeking faculty physicians for Mizzou Urgent Care. Academic rank will be commensurate with candidate’s experience and career goals. Patient volume increase has necessitated a second location, scheduled to open in February 2021. Urgent Care faculty members will practice at both locations. MU is one of the few institutions in the country with colleges of medicine, veterinary medicine, agriculture, engineering, nursing and health professions on one campus. The School of Medicine’s more than 650 faculty physicians and scientists educate more than 1,000 medical students, residents, fellows and other students seeking advanced degrees. QualificationsMust be able to acquire and hold a Missouri license, BNDD, and DEA along with maintaining certification or eligibility for certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Board in Emergency Medicine, Family and Community Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatric Medicine
