The Executive Clinical Director, Milestones is responsible for the leadership, overall operations, management and the success of our long-term residential facility, Milestones. Also responsible for participating in the strategic planning process and the execution of the plan. Provides oversight of the clinical and administrative, and programmatic aspects of the facility. Accountable for financial management, client experience, family and referent relations, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

The Executive Director will collaborate closely with the Senior Clinical Advisor and the Medical Director when making decisions related to Milestones. In addition, they will work cross functionally with all other departments to meet the needs of the program. Responsible for ensuring an atmosphere of effective, high-quality client care, and promoting a dignified and professional treatment environment for our clients and an exceptional culture for our team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

· Lead the development and execution of Milestones annual department plan

· Lead the Milestones team, oversee administrative aspects of clinical programming, and partner with Senior Clinical Advisor and Medical Director on client relations decisions that impact the milieu

· Initiate and maintain frequent, collaborative, and close working relationships with Onsite leadership team, adjuncts, vendors, clinical providers, community partners, referents, and potential clients and families

· Strictly adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies when responding to inquiries for client information and accurately documents all client interactions in a timely manner

· Develop and keep up to date emergency preparedness plans and emergency procedures and assists with crisis management and other emergencies as needed

· Disseminate and implement relevant administrative and policy/practical changes, requests, and announcements to the Milestones team; be the communication link/funnel to the Milestones team

· Monitor and track key performance indicators and report to appropriate parties; assess patient needs through surveys, suggestions, and meetings to assure consistent, quality care for patient population; monitor ongoing client evaluations/satisfaction surveys and respond to content at micro and macro levels

· Collaborate in establishing a welcoming environment an promote a client-centered treatment delivery system

· Report and manage key performance indicators related to census, client engagement, team member engagement, clinical excellence and financial metrics.

· Work with Clinical Coordinator to ensure timely delivery and review of treatment plans to oversee chart approval, document management, and timely documentation of client's medical record in coordination with CARF and HIPAA guidelines

· Perform administrative supervision of therapists (i.e., keep up with documentation, adherence to policies, timeliness, etc.)

· Assume leadership duties of Senior Clinical Advisor during his/her absence

· Actively participate both in obtaining and maintaining Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) accreditation through timely assistance with all requests, training and adhering to Policies and Procedures

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s leadership philosophy, policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include leading by example, assisting in establishing department vision, budget and annual operating plans; interviewing, hiring and training employees; establishing individual employee development plans; establishing succession plans for the Milestones department; planning, assigning and directing work; oversight of appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; quality control.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Expertise in trauma treatment, particularly in somatic, sensorimotor, or experiential therapy modalities, strongly preferred. Master’s Level, fully licensed (in TN, or license eligible within one year) mental health professional (e.g.LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Clinical Psychologist) or related field. A Master’s in Business Administration also preferred; Minimum of 7-10 years in a senior level clinical and managerial roles required, of which at least 5 years are in a mental health/behavioral health inpatient setting; High level clinical therapeutic skills and organizational skills required to oversee clinical and administrative logistics in a fast changing office; Deep understanding of finance metrics and financial strategies within a behavioral health setting; Ability to develop and implement a strategic plan based on defining structure and accountability to a team within a therapeutic environment required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1.00 per hour
