Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

The Clinical Director at Gateway Services is a key leadership position in the organization, responsible for behavioral health strategic program development and implementation, oversight of behavioral health clinical operations and program delivery. This role is accountable for the development and management of behavioral health policies and procedures and ensuring that Gateway Services programs are aligned with industry best practices and innovations leading to improved clinical outcomes. In addition, the Clinical Director is an integral member of the clinical leadership team within Gateway Services, providing direction for integration of behavioral health services

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides direct supervision to all QMHP’s and case aids through monthly individual supervision sessions and group supervision (every other month); completes documentation of supervision sessions and forwards them to the quality assurance staff as a record of such supervision sessions.
  • Provides direct supervision to all Therapists and case aids through bi-weekly individual supervision sessions and completes documentation of supervision sessions.
  • Supervises the structured implementation of the treatment program.
  • Oversees the completion of and facilitates the completion of clinical assessments
  • Responsible for ensuring that all required clinical paper and electronic documentation is submitted to the required bodies within established timeframes, this includes but is not limited to daily progress notes, treatment plans and other clinical documentation.
  • Review and revises forms as necessary.
  • Engages in continuous quality improvement methods to evaluate program efficacy and implement changes as necessary in conjunction with the Program Director.
  • Develops and delivers clinical training.
  • Participates in case conferences, as necessary, providing clinical input and insight.
  • Participates in staff meetings, trainings and agency activities.
  • Maintain a professional and ethical code of behavior

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

At minimum, must be a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP). Must be a person in human services field who is a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, or certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $65,500.00 per year
