Summary:
Plans, coordinates, and implements nutritional therapy services for adult oncology population in ambulatory setting
As a Clinical Dietitian that practices as an expert in medical nutrition therapy, this individual will specialize in the nutrition care of adult patients with cancer. This position involves working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team in the ambulatory care setting to guide and support patients' nutrition care throughout their cancer treatment. We are seeking a compassionate Registered Dietitian with at least three years of clinical experience. The ideal candidate is interested in specializing in oncology care and working with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, clinical setting.

Responsibilities:
Assesses patient's nutritional status and needs as well as develops and implements patient care plans and assesses patient responses to care plans for adult oncology patients throughout all stages of cancer care.
Collaborates with physicians, nursing, pharmacy and other healthcare team members/departments to determine, coordinate, and provide medical nutrition therapy. Participates in and coordinates departmental initiatives relative to patient care.
Develops and conducts education programs for patients, physicians, nurses, and other health care team members/departments, and/or the public.
Functions as a preceptor in support of the dietetic internship program
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Credentials:
- Registered Dietitian
- Cert Ntrtn Support Clinician
- Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition
- Certified Specialist Gerontological
- CSO or CNSC preferred
- Ambulatory oncology experience preferred
- Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's in Human Nutrition or related field required.
- Required Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration with advanced specialty certification CNSC, CSO, CSR, CSP, CSG, CDE.
- Minimum Experience: 3 years experience in clinical nutrition.
The pay range for this position is: $24.11 - $36.17 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
