About the Job
Working under the direction of a nurse, the Clinical Associate contributes to the Hospital’s mission by performing basic procedures necessary to provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients. This clinical staff position will have an impact on quality of care and patient satisfaction by providing for their physical and emotional needs.
Required:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Basic Life Support Certification within 90 days following the date of hire
Must have/be one of the following:
- Certified Nursing Assistant
- Nursing Student with completion of one medical-surgical clinical rotation
- Three months clinical care experience
- Successful completion of the Lahey Health System-Winchester Hospital Clinical Associate/CNA training program
Other Skills/Knowledge:
Required:
- For safety and quality reasons, must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors and fellow members of the hospital team
Preferred:
- Basic computer skills
