The Client Services Manager - SAP PTP, SCM, Manufacturing & Quality is responsible for leading the SAP-SCM (Supply Chain Management) and SAP-PTP (Procure to Pay) threads under the "Business Solutions & Services (BSS)" organization of Abbott, focused on IT Operations Support of multiple ERP (primarily SAP) landscapes. This role will expedite, manage and coordinate multiple interrelated IT project activities within the constraints of human and financial resources and changing priorities, to ensure the successful completion of projects and deliverables. This role will lead the ERP threads in an outsourced model, working with the service providers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure value achievement from the outsourced relationship with suppliers by managing the day-to-day relationship with the Service Provider to ensure the effective delivery of outsourced services, specifically:

    • Conduct regular service reviews; manage and audit Service Provider performance and productivity relative to Service Level Agreements

    • Establish metric/performance reporting; track Service Provider performance and ensure viability of service levels

    • Define and implement service level reporting for clients

    • Provides demand management and prioritization of work in alignment with the business and Service Provider response to demand

    • Assists with the preparation and monitoring of corresponding IT budgets

    • Monitors supplier compliance with Abbott policies, procedures, and quality requirements

  • Perform capacity and demand planning with Service Provider and Governance team – Forecast customer demand for all in-scope and new services.

  • Coordinate services, projects, and plans within domain to ensure priorities are addressed appropriately.

  • Ensure effective systems operations between the suppliers and BSS RUN organization.

Position Accountability / Scope:

Complexity of deliverables: Manages Projects and deliverables at the division or cross-division level.

Direct Budgetary Responsibility and Cost of Engaged Resources (Does not imply signature responsibility): 0-$4MM

Business Impact and Risk: $0 - $7MM in business financial impact. Mission critical to business. Division or Multi-divisions affected

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

Required

Minimum Education:

Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline.

Minimum Experience / Training Required:

  • Must have a program management and leadership experience in an SAP ERP environment, in the areas of SAP-SCM (Production Planning, Production Execution and Quality Management) and SAP-PTP (Direct & Indirect Procurement and Accounts Payables). Experience in SAP-SRM is a plus.
  • 9+ years of experience in project management in an ERP environment, business systems analysis, software development or deployment, with a minimum of 6 years of directly leading ERP projects, preferably in the health care industry.
