Overview:
The Accounting Department at Greenspoon Marder LLP is seeking a Client Services Analyst to add to our team! The Client Services Analyst will be based out of our Fort Lauderdale, Cypress Creek location. This position will be responsible for legal collection services. The Client Services Analyst is a full time position and benefit eligible! Please see below for more details.
Responsibilities: Client Services Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:

Create and develop strong working relationships with Partners and staff professionals to review accounts and escalate as necessary.
- Analyze client AR trends, determine challenges and suggest solutions, provide regular updates to management on these matters.
- Assist in managing day-to-day collections operations; attention to large dollar aged accounts, handle account escalations.
- Follow up with clients for collections via phone calls and emails.
- Monitors and researches short payments/over payments to determine cause for discrepancy.
- Respond to client inquiries and communicate past-due accounts and invoices.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Proactively manage A/R and communicate/work with the collections team and billing attorney to resolve and ensure timely collections of A/R.
- Consistently update the collections database with the status of collection efforts.
- Create clear and concise spreadsheets outlining billing, payments and outstanding invoices to facilitate payment of outstanding invoices.
- Develops and administers credit and collection programs.
- Send follow-up inquiries, negotiate with past due accounts.
- Follow up with Attorneys’ regarding accounts receivable, including monthly status meetings.
- Process client payments via electronic payment software.
- Special Projects.
Qualifications: Preferred Education and Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience with collections analysis and accounts receivable in law firm or professional services required.
- Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
- Strong customer service skills; ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate to build successful relationships with all levels of personnel at the firm, including Partners, Directors and Chiefs.
- Strong business judgement, strong ability to think critically and problem-solve.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with a sense of accuracy.
- Ability to communicate persuasively and interact effectively with employees and clients of varied backgrounds and levels of responsibility.
- Ability to understand, adhere to, enforce and apply department policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office. Minimum of intermediate Excel proficiency, advanced Excel a plus.
- Knowledge of Elite Enterprise or 3E a plus.
