We are a busy, thriving wealth management and tax business. We are ready to add another experienced Client Service Associate to our team. This is an investment advisor support role with both front office and back office responsibilities. The Client Service Associate is integral to our ability to provide the highest level of service to our clients. For established clients, the associate will often serve as their most frequent point of contact. For new clients, the associate will be the main point of contact for processing the incoming transfers and new account paperwork. We are looking for a candidate that possesses a strong work ethic, is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoys working within a small firm.

The Client Service Associate is a liaison between our custodians (Cetera Pershing, TD Ameritrade, and Fidelity), the Financial Advisors, and clients. Job Responsibilities and Tasks:
Organizing, coordinating, preparing and processing client paperwork such as:

  • Opening new brokerage accounts and advisory accounts
  • ACAT paperwork
  • Servicing clients by resolving issues, responding to inquiries and researching answers
  • Setting up and maintaining electronic files
  • Processing contributions and withdrawals
  • Prepare reporting for client’s semi-annual reviews
  • Update data within financial planning software
  • Perform administrative and support functions including but not limited to maintaining files, preparing correspondence, running reports, answering telephones, and submitting advisor’s business via electronic methods
  • Handling other miscellaneous operational activities as required

Position Requirements

  • 4 year college degree with emphasis on business or financial analysis preferred but not required
  • Series 6 or 7 license preferred but not required
  • 4+ years of full time work experience in the financial services/wealth management profession
  • Management/leadership experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint )
  • Excellent interpersonal, IT, written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and on a team
  • Extremely detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated high degree of initiative and accountability
  • Adaptable, able to manage multiple tasks and willing to assist other team members when necessary.

The compensation package is commensurate with experience and includes a base salary with performance bonuses. This position typically ranges between $20-$30/hour.

This position is full time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
